Chilli Parota is one such recipe that can be prepared in no time with tempting results. Chilli Parota is different from other Parota recipes since it uses Indian spices and also sauces. The dish is versatile and has no ‘specific’ recipe that has to be followed. Every street stall in Tamil Nadu is found with different styles of Chilly Parotas, each with its twist of taste.

Ingredients
Bhima's Ready-to-Cook Parotas: 4
Onion: 1 large (sliced)
Capsicum (bell pepper): 1 (sliced)
Green chilies: 2 (slit lengthwise)
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
Red chili sauce: 2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
Tomato ketchup: 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
Vinegar: 1 teaspoon
Salt: to taste
Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Oil: 2 tablespoons
Spring onions (green part): for garnishing
Fresh coriander leaves: for garnishing
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
1. Heat oil in a pan or kadai over medium heat.
2. Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
3. Add sliced capsicum and slit green chilies. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes until they become slightly tender.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute or until the raw smell disappears.
5. Add red chili sauce, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar, and black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the vegetables.
6. While the sauce is simmering, prepare Bhima's Ready-to-Cook Parotas as per the package instructions. Typically, they can be cooked on a tawa or microwave, taking around 10 minutes.
7. Tear the cooked parotas into small pieces and add them to the sauce in the pan. Mix well so that the parotas get coated with the sauce and vegetables.
8. Continue to stir-fry the mixture on medium heat for a couple of minutes, ensuring that the parotas are well combined with the sauce and vegetables.
9. Garnish the Chilli Parota with chopped spring onions (green part) and fresh coriander leaves.
